Account deletion

You can request deletion of your Hop I Care account at any time by:

• Going to your profile settings and clicking on “Delete my account”;
• Contacting our customer service at [email protected].

Effect of deletion

• Personal Data: We will delete or anonymize your personal information from our production databases.
• Activity history: Data relating to your races and associated donations may be kept anonymized for statistical purposes, in accordance with our privacy policy.
• Deadline: The effective deletion of your data may take up to [X] working days from your request, allowing time for us to process all technical and administrative requests.

Limitations

In certain cases, we may be required to retain certain information to meet legal obligations (e.g. accounting, taxation) or for security purposes (fraud, litigation). This data, if retained, will be stored securely and will not be reused for commercial purposes.
